Celebrity stretchmarks? They are standard, natch. Given that around 75 to 90% of pregnant women will develop the lines – that’s according to research published in the British Journal of Dermatology – and that about 80% of the total population are estimated to have them thanks to factors like growth spurts or weight gain, the stripes are pretty much a de facto part of living life.

1. Kourtney Kashdashian

The new queen of grunge glam was spotted on her holibobs looking phenomenal in a black one piece – and didn’t seem bothered in the slightest about her stretch marks that grace her thighs. Fire emojis all round.

After having a first baby, Hasley captioned an unedited post of her stretchmarks that was titled ‘well..this is what I look’. TBH we’re totally here for her refreshing honesty that helps to smash the unrealistic body ideals that people face post-pregnancy.

The mum of 1 looked like and absolute dream posing for Vogue AUS and clearly wasn’t going to let a few stretch marks get in the way of a killer shoot. 

4. Ashley Graham

Model Ashley Graham has been documenting her pregnancy – the 34-year-old is expecting twins, with her husband, Justin Ervin, in all of its glory – and her latest IG continues the theme, beautifully. In it, Graham shows her tummy with the caption: ‘Justin says my stretchmarks look like the tree of life.’

The baby of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has posted a snap of herself to her IG story in which she shows the stretchmarks on her boobs. Thanks to the image, fans were quick to praise the 22-year-old mum-of-one, with one Twitter user writing: ‘I finally like a normal human after seeing that @KylieJenner also has boob stretch marks!’

Former EastEnders star Melissa Suffield has taken to Instagram to share a series of images highlighting her pregnancy stretch marks, with the caption: ‘They’re not ideal.They’re not what I wanted.But they’re what I got. And they’re mine.’

The former Victoria Secret model has taken to Instagram to share a snap of herself sporting (unedited out) stretch marks. In the Instagram carousel, the Brazilian is seen living the dream by a pool in LA.

Presenter Stacey, 29, is currently pregnant with her third child and shared a snap of herself on holiday, in a red bikini. 

‘I honestly love how much stretch marks shine in the sun! Natural glitter,’ the Dagenham native wrote.

It’s nada surprise that the actress and founder of body positivity platform I WEIGH is all about showing her body in its honest, un-Photoshopped state. 

‘Boob stretch marks are a normal, beautiful thing. I have stretch marks all over my body and I hereby rename them all Babe Marks,’ the 32-tear-old wrote in an Instagram post last week. 

‘They are a sign my body dared to take up extra space in a society that demands our eternal thinness. They are my badge of honour for resisting society’s weaponising of the female form.’

Yes, Rihanna. The Bajan singer and founder of Fenty Beauty shared this series of holiday snaps in May 2018 – with the final one in the collection showing stretch marks on her glutes.

British model Iskra’s been doing her bit for shaking up the fashion industry with her refusal to airbrush photos and her championing of a fresh aesthetic – and this glorious shot, in which her ‘tiger stripes’ are proudly displayed, is no different.

If you love Kayla’s workout programmes, you’ll know that the trainer and social media sensation is as fit as they come – which is why the Australian sharing a shot of her stretch marks feels all the more important.
